Business Development Associate

To strengthen our growth team, EXAM Packaging is currently looking for an energetic Business Development Associate to help drive our sales and grow the business.

EXAM Packaging is an expert in temperature-controlled packaging solutions for the pharma and biotech industry. We design, develop and supply demanding high-performance solutions. Exam solutions are environmentally friendly, flexible and high quality.

EXAM Packaging has a broad spectrum of temperature-controlled transport solutions; refrigerated packaging for temperature-sensitive products, containers for vaccines, certified solutions for hazardous products (toxic or infectious). Our international network of customers is organized around biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, laboratories, clinical research organizations and specialized logistics companies.

Demand

To strengthen our growth team, EXAM Packaging is currently looking for an energetic Business Development Associate to help drive our sales and grow the business. You will attract new clients and build solid relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships. Other duties will include market research, developing customer strategies and solutions, managing multiple projects, and identifying new business opportunities. You will work with various departments and report to the Head of Revenue.

The successful applicant will be resourceful, organized and motivated to increase sales, enhance the company’s reputation, and look for new and creative ways to market our solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Willing to familiarize yourself with the company’s vision and mission, seek to accomplish set sales goals and objectives
  • Conduct market research and identifying potential clients
  • Cultivate strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
  • Collate and maintain client information in the CRM database
  • Work closely with colleagues across departments to implement growth strategies
  • Develop and implement client service and retention plans, and analyze sales data to inform or update marketing strategies
  • Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
  • Identify new business opportunities and partners
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the thermal packaging industry, market trends, competitive landscape and pricing dynamics

Profile

  • Master’s degree in business management, marketing, or related field
  • 1 – 2 years’ relevant work experience in business development or similar field preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Friendly and personable attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software
  • Knowledge in the pharma, biotech or specialized logistics sector is an asset
  • Preferable within 35km of HQ in Strombeek-Bever
